4:00 PM–8:00 PM — FOLLOWED AND INTERVIEWED IAN CUNNINGHAM OF RIVER SENTRY. HE EXPLAINED THE FLOOD-WARNING DETECTION SYSTEMS THAT ARE NOW BEING IMPLEMENTED TO PROTECT CAMPS ALONG THE RIVER. WE DOCUMENTED ACTUAL TRIAL RUNS.

6:00–10:00 PM | Kerr County — Interviewed the Robertson family inside their flood-damaged home; licensed Jack Robertson’s iPhone footage for film use.
2:30–6:00 PM | Kerr County — Interviewed Calvin and Catherine Smajstrla, parents WHO LOST THEIR DAUGHTER, Renee Smajstrla (8). This was their only interview.
10:00 AM–2:00 PM | Kerr County — Interviewed Justin Hawkins, Camp Rio Vista owner, and Sara Carter Kendrick. THEY DISCUSSED historical ties between Camp Mystic, Camp Rio Vista, and the Eastland family.
